At Matina, 3 km from the harbour, magnificent hotel of cycladique architecture built on several levels on the hillside in a pleasant setting. Quietly luxurious, it overlooks the bay. Nice location just a few steps from the beach. The 30 rooms are spacious and well equipped, with a veranda overlooking the sea. The superior have been recently and more elegantly renovated (at the same price, prefer those located above, especially for the breathtaking view). Swimming pool. À la carte restaurant. Pleasant welcome, further: The director speaks French. Transfer offered for reservations via the Internet, and bus stop nearby. Check out the promotions on the site.

The Hotel overall was good, however, it did have some issues with notifications and overall hospitality. One morning, the building's water went out and there was no water to use in order to shower and clean in the early morning. Another issue was that upon checking out, I requested for a late check out, yet the hotel still turned off the wifi services, water services, and electricity services, even though they agreed and made a note on the system that they were okay with a late check out by an hour. This was not professional and very inappropriate by the hotel management. The communication was very bad and unprofessional.

I do wanted to make a note that the gentlemen working at the breakfast bar restaurant were really helpful and provided a great service.

The price was kind of expensive.

4.5/5. A little bit pricey but I loved my stay here. They upgraded me to a jacuzzi room which I appreciated at the end of an exhausting trip.

Beautiful hotel. Spacious room, very clean and gorgeous view. Beach is just minutes away as is the bus stop to get to town. Breakfast was excellent.

Pool was a bit small but given the beach was close I didn’t mind. Bed was two twins as opposed to a queen or king - again not the end of the world to me. Service was friendly!

I would recommend/ stay again.

Super Hotel. Tolle Lage und direkter Blick auf die Bucht von Ornos. Sehr großes Zimmer, großzügige Terrasse und in unserem Fall ein Privatpool. Das Frühstück ist klasse. Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch angerichtet und an den Tisch gebracht.
