Located just a few miles from Alaska, Beaver Creek is the westernmost community on Canadian soil. It is the last stop before reaching the border. This small, historic community, home of the White River First Nation, offers a range of services including accommodations, restaurants and an information center and is often a popular stopover for travellers on the Alaska Highway. A few state campgrounds line this beautiful road that will give you a taste of northern vegetation. Shrubs, numerous lakes, mountains, moose and bears are all there.
