Neoclassical style museum with period objects, costumes and documents

Housed in the elegant neoclassical Villa Caccia, this museum, founded in 1973, introduces visitors to daily life, customs and habits in the countryside of the southern Val Sesia (the valley around the river Sesia). Objects, costumes and period documents recreate the living and working environment of yesteryear in several rooms: a peasant's interior, a classroom, a kitchen, a wine press, a 17th-century loom, and more.
