Spring is the season of bulbous flowers: daffodils, hyacinths and, above all, tulips follow one another and colour the 14 hectares of flowerbeds in the garden of the Château de Grand-Bigard, just outside Brussels. And who better than a Dutchman to supervise the 400 species of tulips present? Martin Bakker, who comes from a family of tulip growers, researches the plants and designs the gardens. In recent years, this event has become increasingly crowded and highly Instagrammable. Just make sure you stay on the marked paths!

Ne prenez PAS le PARKING
Les fleurs sont belles bien que déjà un peu fanées, mais tout est fort cher pour ce que c'est. En outre, le parking à 5 euros = un SCANDALE ! Il nous a fallu une demi-heure pour le trouver après avoir traversé la foule de voitures, car les indications étaient très mauvaises, voire absentes. De plus, la navette (annoncée nulle part) pour nous conduire au Château (eh oui, le parking était fort éloigné) n'était pas du tout sécurisée pour les chiens alors qu'ils sont permis à l'évènement et elle nous a déposés à encore 5 minutes à pieds du Château. Et ce qui est complètement INADMISSIBLE, c'est que la navette s'arrête à 18h00 pile, heure de fin de Floralia ; or, le temps de sortir du Château et d'arriver à l'arrêt, nous l'attendions à 18h15, mais elle n'est jamais arrivée et nous avons dû aller chercher notre voiture à pied au bout du monde ! Une véritable ARNAQUE !!! Un conseil : Ne prenez pas le supplément parking...
