This museum was once the home of the Flemish Expressionist painter Gustaaf de Smet (1877-1943). Shortly after his death, the municipality opened its residence to the public, who can discover the living room, the workshop and the fully furnished bedroom where the artist lived, as well as the paintings, mainly expressionist, which allow to apprehend the work of Gustaaf De Smet.
