This typical Namur square is hidden behind an alleyway linking it to Place de l'Ange. Familiar to all Namurians, it has retained the same charm since the 18th century. The terraces of the many cafés and restaurants invite you to take a break under the lime trees, around the monumental pump, before visiting the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church. Built in the 16thcentury in Gothic style, this is one of the oldest churches in the city. Inside, the black marble altars contrast with the pale decor of the vaults.
