JOURNÉE DU FOLKLORE ET DES TRADITIONS

On the third Saturday of April, in the squares and streets of Namur, a demonstration of popular culture. A good opportunity to discover the historical and folkloric past of the city, from medieval traditions to the 21st century. The diversity of cultural heritage is important in the Walloon capital. The public can take part in various workshops: dance, traditional music, flag games, re-enacted military manoeuvres, etc. The day ends with a round dance.
