CIM. FINE CLOD MILLET

This cemetery gathers the remains of more than 4,000 French soldiers from Brittany, Normandy and the North of France and the Maghreb, buried in 1,179 individual graves, three mass graves and two ossuaries. The main monument consists of a Gothic arch, the embryo of a commemorative chapel erected by the Germans in 1917. A plaque evokes Franco-Belgian friendship, another honours an active member of the pilgrimages to the Belle Motte, Ernest Cotelle, father of an officer killed at Le Roux in August 1914.
