Castle located in the middle of the village, surrounded by ditches, presenting a visit in the museum of the vine and the castle

What a destiny for this 11th century feudal castle, located in the middle of the village, surrounded by ditches! François Vaxelaire ( Au Bon Marché stores) acquired it in 1896. His great-granddaughter Vanessa transformed it into a wine estate in 2008 (11 hectares, organic since 2020) and ensures its preservation with her husband Andy. The visit of the château is linked to the discovery of the vineyard and the Made in Bioul itinerary set up by the hostess: museum of the vine and the château, discovery of the cellar, tasting, restaurant and shop: a complete experience.
