Restaurant located in the heart of the vineyards at the bottom of the village of Katzenthal offering regional specialties

Located in the heart of the vineyards at the bottom of the village of Katzenthal, this cosy inn has a private car park accessible directly from the D415 from Colmar or Ammerschwihr. With a very pleasant terrace in summer, the establishment managed by Jean-Claude Lorang offers you mainly regional specialities: duck foie gras and homemade presskopf, chef's snails, winegrower's salad, munster cordon bleu, ham on sauerkraut, riesling chicken, frozen kougelhopf.... Suggestions according to the seasons complete the menu; at the beginning of spring, for example, you will have the pleasure of tasting the first asparagus! Also note that the restaurant has a trout pool, a source of fish dishes of incomparable freshness! The Auberge du Florimont is only open at lunchtime, but it occasionally organizes theme evenings (wild boar on a spit, mussels and chips...) Bon accueil, service très chaud mais agréable. Votre employée est très agréable. Nous sommes arrivés vers vers13 h. Et là serveuse courait partout. Ca nous à fait rire. Nous, nous avions pris un jour de la semaine pour souffler un peu. Donc nous avions tout notre temps. Ambiance très agréable, c'est que nous recherchions.
La cuisine très bonne ,nous nous sommes régalés. Nous y reviendrons. Merci

Bonne adresse pour ceux qui cherchent un restaurant qui fait de bons plats typiques "comme avant", personnel sympa et aux petits soins. Possible de prendre un menu du jour (entrée, plat, dessert) à un tarif attractif (16,5€) ou à la carte.
