Located in a beautiful brick house on the banks of the Vesdre, this restaurant is next door to the Château des Thermes. You'll enjoy excellent grilled meats, such as Belgian blanc bleu, entrecôte irlandaise, duck breast, onglet de boeuf or rognons de veau à la liégeoise. Le Long du Bief boasts a pleasant terrace and a lunch menu, with a choice of two starters and two main courses. Arnaud, son of owners Thierry and Anne, is the chef. The house offers a wide variety of wines, as well as a fine selection of rums and whiskies.

Le Valentino offers a good forty Italian-style pizzas and a good twenty homemade pasta dishes from the Botte region. We appreciate the thin-crust pizzas, with quality ingredients and classic, well-prepared compositions. Some Italian dishes are also on the menu, such as fresh pasta rolls Florentine style (ricotta, ham, spinach), as well as foccacias and other specialties. But the really good deal is the weekday lunch, which varies regularly for a very reasonable price. A good address.
