On the ground floor: a rich collection of weapons, uniforms and equipment illustrates the Revolution and the Empire, the Dutch period and the Belgian period up to 1914. Upstairs: the highlights of the two World Wars: the battle of 24 August 1914 and the Battle of the Scheldt of October-November 1918 bombing of Tournai and the Battle of the Scheldt of May 1940, liberation of September 1944. A last room is dedicated to the evolution of the city's fortifications.

Très beau musée riche en pièces. Toutes les périodes sont abordées et tous les styles. Vaut la peine d'être vu, pièces thématiques et petit espace dédié à la légion étrangère.
