BLUE STONE DOCUMENTATION CENTER

Bluestone, renowned for centuries, has been used in the construction of many remarkable buildings, both civil and religious. There are several quarries in the surrounding area, making the city of Sonegna Europe's largest bluestone quarry. The limestone is 345 million years old and, of course, richly enriched with fossils.
