SOTTO IL PONTE

Sotto il Ponte, not the beach but the nice restaurant under the bridge of the R3 which changes us from the classic Italians. Jacques Cerami (Pino's son...) is an art lover and has created a small exhibition gallery right next to the restaurant dressed in contemporary furniture. Here the long table d'hôtes allows conversation with the neighbours. A lot of authenticity here, we talk about orrechiette, penne aum aum (à la mozza di buffala) and the terrible vegetable buffet that makes the vegans fantasize. To close, we take a gelato that reminds us that the house is also an ice-cream parlour.
