The saga began in 1909, when Adolph, a blacksmith by trade, bought a few plots of vines to supplement his income. His son Xavier then laid the foundations of the family estate with the creation of a specific label and his own bottling. A century later, Laurent Wehrlé manages 10 ha of vines organically, including 4 ha in the Grands Crus Eichberg and Pfersigberg. He takes advantage of the 7 Alsatian grape varieties from a beautiful mosaic of terroirs to produce precise, fresh wines, such as his sylvaner, aged 6 months in foudre, which is deliciously floral!
