MUSEUM OF NATIONAL CULTURE MORDEN

Inaugurated in 1999, this pretty little museum is located in a town house dating from the October Revolution. The collection includes more than 3,500 objects: traditional costumes, everyday objects, but also agricultural tools, icons, wooden sculptures, books and photographs. Part of the museum is also devoted to the traditions and rites of Mordovia (wedding customs, seasonal festivals, education of children, etc.).
