PENSION IVATAN

Hotel

Addresses not too expensive to stay in town near the airport, or a little away from Valugan Bay. It consists of a typical, fully equipped Batanes house with a small swimming pool on the back. Very charming, an excellent plan… but far from everything! The city pension is correct, the owners also have the Therese Coffee Shop, or you can eat a good local kitchen.

BATANES RESORT

Hotel

Located two kilometers from the center, the Batanes Resort (which is a resort in name only) offers six stone houses, with two rooms in each, inspired by traditional Ivatan houses. Perched on a hill overlooking the sea, they have been recently renovated and are therefore comfortable with air conditioning and shower. The hotel offers packages of 3 days or more including accommodation, meals and activities. A practical option for discovering the area without getting bored. Great views of the South China Sea.

SHANEDEL’S INN & CAFE

Hotel

A bed & breakfast well kept by Dely who reserves you an excellent welcome. The rooms, with a basic decoration, are equipped with either a fan or air conditioning and each one has a nice balcony with a view on the sea. If the rooms are rather banal, the address is appreciated for its pretty restaurant which offers a very beautiful panorama. There is a good atmosphere here and the cuisine is simple but very correct. An address that we recommend especially at sunset time.

BATANES SEASIDE LODGE & RESTAURANT

Hotel €€

Overlooking Basco Bay, the hotel is appreciated by foreign and Filipino tourists for its location and its beautiful panorama. It is especially recommended for groups. The rooms are air-conditioned. Lydia goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home here, away from home. We organize all kinds of excursions to Batan and the other islands, diving and parties... Karaoke of course!

FUNDACION PACITA

Hotel €€€

Without a doubt, THE best address in the Batanes. The suites are very well decorated (by local artists), and the private verandas offer sumptuous views of the sea. As for comfort, nothing to say, we are beyond the standards of the island. Couples will appreciate it. The hotel is involved in many projects to preserve Ivatan culture. A minimum of two nights is required. The meals are also of excellent quality. Lots of charm! A must on a trip to the Batanes, to sleep, to eat or just to contemplate.
