VERMONT QUILT FESTIVAL

Americans are not short of ideas when it comes to finding reasons to celebrate. As proof, Vermont hosts an annual quilt festival, the oldest and largest in all of New England! The first one was held 44 years ago. The event takes place at the Champlain Valley Exposition, where the finest examples of the patchwork quilts so characteristic of Eastern American popular culture are on display. There are also vendors and free demonstrations.
