HARRIET TUBMAN MUSEUM

A small museum dedicated to the heroine of the Underground Railroad and which is part of the Harriet Tubman Byway. With the help of videos and explanatory texts, he looks back at Harriet Tubman's life and covers more broadly the escape of slaves in the region. Be sure to stop by during your visit to Cambridge. In 2019, a large mural fresco appeared outside the museum on one of its adjoining walls, creating a sensation. Directed by the artist Michel Rosato, it depicts Harriet Tubman, offering his hand to lead slaves to freedom.
