Hotel offering functional and comfortable rooms, some with a view on the fjord, the ideal terrace to eat

Located at the intersection of roads 60 and 62, 6 km from Brjánslækur, this low-rise building acts as a "hub" in the area, offering all the services you could wish for and functional and quite comfortable rooms, some with a view of the fjord. To eat, you can sit in a large room or rather on the very pleasant terrace. The Hellulaug hot spring is less than a ten minute walk away and faces the sea. Ideal to travel in the Westfjords, reservation is imperative.

Good campsite to stop, the sink and bathroom were not the best but suficient for only one day. There’s no common area nor kitchen. Good views of the bay.

Perfect spot to rest after our international flight and 6+ hr drive to the Westfjords.
Quiet atmosphere, beautiful view.
Minimal accomodations - a few toilets, two showers, sinks and electric kettles.

Considering the location in the Westfjords, the facilities are of reasonable quality and they are maintained. To check-in to the campsite, first go to the hotel of the same name down the road, pay at the reception desk for a ticket to put on your dash. Price for my campervan was I believe 3,000 ISK. I arrived at 10:30pm.

Podría ser un 4.5 estrellas // 1.500 isk por persona.
Cosas buenas:
- vistas espectaculares
- piscina termal cerca gratis con vistas al mar
- terreno plano
- baños limpios
- pequeño cuarto para lavar platos y con varios calentadores de agua

Cosas malas:
- no tienen fuego para cocinar
- no tiene lavadora ni secadora

De todas formas, bastante recomendable
