JESUIT CHURCH (JEZUITSKÝ KOSTEL)

This church in Klatovy, on the Peace Square, is imposing by its size and its two spires reminiscent of the Tyn church in Prague. Its monumental white facade catches the eye. Dedicated to the Immaculate Conception and Saint Ignatius, it is worth a visit. It is a true masterpiece of Baroque art, with its trompe-l'oeil frescoes and grandiose paintings. The church follows a Latin cross plan, respecting the design of Jesuit churches.
