Mauna Kea Beach is a curved white sand beach with turquoise waters that appears on many postcards

Access allowed from sunrise to sunset. Supervised swimming from 8 am. A curved white sand beach with turquoise waters that appears on many postcards. It is perfect for swimming all year round and, in winter, it is a good surfing spot because of the rougher sea. The beach is accessed through the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. If you are not a guest, you must ask for a "Beach Parking Pass" at the entrance, which allows you to leave your car in the parking lot all day. Be careful: you have to come early because the places are flying away at sight!
