Travel Guide Rubumba – Kiganda

In the vicinity of Muramvya, several sites in the Monarchical period can be browsed on foot, more or less long, or by car. These sites can be won separately from Muramvya, or walk from one to the other (all are located within a radius of 10-15 km west of the head-site).The Mucece, the hill Nkondo and Kivyeyi, will reach the Piste, which is on the right of the RN 2 at the height of Gatabo (14 km from Muramvya, direction Gitega). It is the area of Rubumba and Kiganda which is discussed more extensively below.Otherwise, Mbuye, a royal hill, is on the other side of the RN 2, still starting from Gatabo. In this latter town, you will be able to take advantage of the passage to walk in the mountain market that the European Prebu programme completed in 2005.
