CASTLE OF DĚTENICE (ZÁMEK DĚTENICE)

This elegant castle with bright red walls, with windows highlighted in white, owes its current appearance to the work done in 1765. Much more remains of the original fortress or even the Renaissance Castle of the th century. In the th century, the place was purchased by the order of the Knights of Malta and became their headquarters in Bohemia. The interior is richly decorated. We will see beautiful furniture from different periods, but also rooms covered with hunting trophies, stretching up to disgust. The gardens are very pleasant. In summer there are medieval shows with fights in costumes, medieval banquets…
