KHUMA

Along with Gonpokarpo, Chenling, Shyam, Minje and Ngangladung, Khoma is one of the weaving villages for which Bhutan is famous. Here, everyone owns a loom. Here, the villagers (mainly women) produce the highly renowned traditional fabrics used to make kira (traditional women's clothing in Bhutan). You won't be disturbed by the relatively few tourists. But it's worth taking a look at how these fabrics are designed and how the local people live.
