Qanat Quartier is a Walt Disney-style imitation of a Venice neighborhood on The Pearl Island. It's quite a surprise to arrive amidst these brightly colored houses (which look a little papier-mâché), distributed along canals, just like in the Serenissima. Of course, it's nothing like the real Italy, but it's fun to wander around, especially in the piano stairs, a 30-step interactive staircase that plays ten pre-programmed classical Italian melodies as you walk on it. You can also take a boat ride on the canals.
