DHOW TOUR (BOAT)

Moored on the corniche, the dhows pick up passers-by and take them on a 30-minute ride (a quick round trip in front of the skyline) to a 2-hour ride (a crossing to The Pearl), day or night, on small traditional boats. The music is loud and danceable, sometimes Bollywood, as the drivers are often Indian. When the chemistry is right, a good-natured little party is created during the crossing. Photo breaks in front of the West Bay skyline - if possible at dusk when the towers light up - are the highlight of the ride.
