There are plenty of terraces to sit and have tea in Souq Waqif. But ask around and you'll find this popular little café on a busy street in the souk, under a large tree and with a terrace of traditional benches. The setting is perfect. They serve tea in cups and inexpensive chapatis, cheese or meat, prepared in a traditional oven that can be seen behind the window overlooking the street. The locals are used to meet there at any time and the place is authentic.
