After years of running Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge, Laura and Simone warmly welcome you to this new lodge, built on the Namibian bank of the Chobe River, opposite the famous Botswana National Park. It consists of eight modern, spacious, comfortable, raised, hardwood cottages with large bay windows and a well oriented terrace for better wildlife viewing. We recommend two nights on site, the minimum to discover this wilderness in the heart of Southern Africa and to take a boat cruise.

Message from Management
Serondela Lodge is located on the Namibian banks of the Chobe River and faces the famous Chobe National Park. It offers spacious, secluded rooms with private viewing decks. These allow you to relax and watch the herds of elephant, buffalo and impala as they graze. The suites have been designed to give you a spectacular view of the wildlife through large windows. All accommodations are equipped with a large bathroom and Wi-Fi access. In addition, Serondela Lodge offers several activities such as a nature walk, village tour, sunset cruise or safari in the Chobe Park.
When we got back from our morning game and boat rides we went for lunch. Only to be told there was no lunch as 'they', the staff, forgot to ask us at breakfast what we wanted.
The only positive was the game drives and river (listed as a river) but a wider opening in the swamps.
All up far from luxury, heard the word rustic being used? Maybe rustic with a little imagination.
Only a fan set far from the bed for ventilation / cooling at night. Put the mosquito net down and no air at all. March is still very hot and steamy.
Late April into May onwards it is very dry and dusty we were informed.
