Established on the premises of the former Grubb Shaft mine in Beaconsfield, this museum is full of memories.

Apart from the history of the region linked to the discovery of gold in 1847 and the dramatic and highly publicized event that saw the collapse of a tunnel in 2006, this museum is above all an ecomuseum that aims to go further into what Beaconsfield was and has become. It is located in the former Grubb Shaft Mine, which has been bought and renamed many times since its creation. Take the time to visit this place full of memories that will surprise you.
