At 533 meters high, Mount Sturgeon (Wurgarri) marks the southernmost point of the Grampians National Park. From Dunkeld, a 7 km round-trip trail leads to the summit. The hike passes through eucalypt forests, then rises through rocky terrain and bushland. The climb, though challenging, offers great rewards with panoramic views of the surrounding ranges, volcanic plains and Dunkeld.
