TIN CAN BAY DOLPHINS

At Tin Can Bay, on the other side of Rainbow Beach, you'll find wild Pacific dolphins. Meet Mystique, Aussie and White Fin, who show up at the same spot every morning in front of Barnacles Cafe. It all started in 1950, when a dolphin injured in a shark attack washed up on the sand. The locals came to his aid and once he recovered, the dolphin, nicknamed "Old Scarry", returned to the wild, but regularly came back to the bay for a free meal.
