Xi'an is now very proud of the huge square built north of the pagoda. For the modest sum of 550 million yuan (about EUR 55 million), the municipality has put on this square 110 000 m ² the largest music fountain in Asia… Kitsch but not unpleasant, especially in the evening, when young and less young of Xi'an find it.
