The only lodge in the north of the island offering 3 huts and a hut as well as an excursion in the forest.
Roland and Rosaire Ouckewen manage the only B&B in the north of the island. Welcoming and willing to make your stay enjoyable, they offer three paillotes that have been built in a large courtyard, strewn with white coral. They can accommodate 3, 4 and 6 people respectively. The cleanliness is impeccable and one hut can also accommodate up to 8 people. Roland even offers an excursion into the forest to observe the famous Ouvéa parakeet. Many services are available, including transfers to/from the airfield and a tour of the island.

Le lieu est sympa, les sanitaires sont propres, les plats servis sont très bons et copieux. Par contre l'accueil est déplorable, notre hôte n'était pas du tout sympathique, ni aidant. Nous devions passer 2 nuits au banian, au final nous ne sommes resté qu'une nuit.
Attention il ne prend pas la carte bleue ! Prévoir du liquide !

Bon logement propre avec 2 prises, c'est une case avec de vrais lits. Accueil timide mais juste ce qu'il faut. Petit déjeuner simple. Repas divin et très copieux. Pas de WiFi proposé. Sanitaires tout à fait corrects 2 WC et 2 douches avec eau chaude.

On a dormi dans une paillote, propre et grande.
Le bloc sanitaires-douches étaient également propres et spacieux.
Nous avons dîné et pris le petit déjeuner au Banian : c'était bon et copieux.
Mis à part les coqs du matin, ce qui est normal ici à Ouvea, nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Rolland.
Non véhiculés, il nous a même gentiment emmenés au trou aux tortues.
Un bon pied à terre pour découvrir le nord de l'île.
