Admirable welcome of the Himba in a lodge proposing charming chalets in self-catering with terrace, perched on a hill.
House on the Hill is a little nugget perched on a hill (as its name indicates) in a difficult to access area: 3 charming self-catering chalets are proposed, with a terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains. One feels immediately at home there, and one is admirably welcomed by the Himba of the village who are in charge of its maintenance. We owe the surprising decor to Trevor Nott, a local artist who has planted along the road to the Marienfluss a number of his creations, small men made of stone and iron: keep your eyes open!
