Bert's is both a barbecue restaurant and soul food as well as a hyper entertainment complex known to the Detroiters. The menu serves meat dishes cooked in their smoking rooms, especially the levées. Their chicken wings and marinated chicken to Jamaican are also very well known. On Saturday, market day at the Eastern Market, they organise a barbecue all day in front of the live musicians restaurant. The place is also hyper due to the rich programming of musical performances, especially jazz, blues and motown. The perfect place to live Detroit like a local!
