A very delicious Afro-Caribbean cuisine with many West African specialities such as mafé and Wolof rice.
Well known for its catering and food truck, Yum Village opened its resto space in spring 2019 in the New Center neighborhood, not far from the Fisher Building. Here, Chef Godwin Ihentuge draws inspiration from his Nigerian roots to concoct healthy and delicious Afro-Caribbean cuisine. On the menu, jerk chicken, chicken curry, mafé (a peanut stew widely consumed in West Africa), vegan acras, Wolof rice, sweet and spicy plantains, etc. Perfect for a meal on the go with sunny flavors!
