Large museum with 5 movie theaters, café, bookstore, interactive museum, auditorium and production rooms

Designed in 2001 by Niemeyer, this film museum was finally inaugurated in 2016. This museum, financed by the patron Petrobras, is the largest devoted to cinema in the country. The company Reserva Cultural will run it for 25 years. There will be 5 cinemas, a café and a bookshop. The part of the building in the form of a roll of film remains under the city's administration. It houses an interactive museum, a 700-seat auditorium and production rooms.
