Separates Lalzi Bay (south) from Drin Bay (north). Skanderbeg fort and church. Beautiful views.
This 4 km-long overhang (Kepi i Rodonit) separates the Bay of Lalzi (to the south) from the Bay of Drin (to the north). It is named after Redon, the Illyrian god of the Sea. It is also called Cape Skanderbeg, as the remains of a fortress that the national hero had erected at its northern tip in 1463 can still be seen. A few hundred metres further on, turn right and you'll come across bunkers and the superb little church of St. Anthony (Kisha e Shën Ndojt). Built in Byzantine style in the 1370s, it houses the tombs of a local lord and his wife.
