ESTANCIA GUARDIA DEL MONTE

On the edge of the lagoon, this former Spanish guard house was part of the fortifications built by the Spanish to control the area. The oldest parts of the building date back to 1800. Here you can observe hundreds of birds, walk through a forest ofombúes and take unforgettable horseback rides in the wilderness. The dining room is reminiscent of the old pulperías, and the rooms, furnished in the old style, are very comfortable.
