CIUDAD PERDIDA

The Lost City is a labyrinthine tangle of natural lanes, where you can admire amazing rock formations. The track leading to it is sandy in places, then you park under a tree and start a 2 hours 30 min walk (with a park guide), very easy. The path winds through a desolate landscape with reddish tones, which was occupied 225 million years ago by a tropical forest and large lagoons. It was also here that the Lagosuchus Talampayensis, one of the oldest dinosaurs on the planet, was discovered.
