CENTRO DE VISITANTES " AGUA BRILLANTE "
Ecological complex on the shores of the Ibera lagoon, housing an exhibition hall and an interpretation or study center
This ecological complex, built in wood, blends particularly well into the landscape. That's where the Casa de los Guardaparques is.
The guards are in charge of preserving the environment, but also of controlling the safety of the people who circulate in the Esteros. Most were born in the area and have always lived there. Many supported their families by hunting. With the creation of the reserve, they have become guardians of an environment they know and love. Don't forget to visit the Interpretation Centre. The guards will answer all your questions about wildlife. They will also show you around the showroom. The most interesting thing is the model, which gives a clearer view of the layout of the premises. The Interpretation Centre is also a study centre, often welcoming foreign students who come for a few months to observe the ecosystem and carry out academic work.
Around the Interpretation Centre, which is also a sort of open-air menagerie (the animals living in the neighbourhood no longer fear human presence), a few paths have been opened to walk through the vegetation. On this occasion, you will get to know a colony of monkeys that populate the trees.
Right on the edge of the Ibera lagoon, you will notice the beginning of the concrete construction.
