This artificial lake was inaugurated in 1962 in response to the terrible floods that struck Tandil in 1951. With a surface area of 19 hectares, the dique and its geyser are the perfect place for a family trip, for example cycling, or for a swim in one of the swimming pools of the complex. For amateurs, there is also fishing and other water sports.

Endroit idéal pour une promenade très agréable autour du lac, des équipements sportifs; à gauche un accès par une petite route assez pentue vers le moulin et la sculpture de don Quichotte une fois passé la digue. Il y a aussi de l'autre côté des sculptures en fer de toute beauté! Accessible à pied depuis le centre ville pour les bons marcheurs
