IGLESIA DEL SANTO SEPULCRO

In the heart of the village nestles the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, an exceptional Romanesque work of art in Navarre, built around 1170. Originally built to house a cemetery, it is considered a tribute to the main tomb of Christianity, the circular building of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. Inside, an impressive cross-ribbed vault evokes Hispano-Muslim art, suggesting that the church was built by Mudejar craftsmen.
