Located in the heart of Thekkady next to the reserve, Écolodge is composed of 15 bungalows built with local materials (bamboo, grass). Only vegetarian catering served is typical of Kerala and is prepared by the local community.
Proposed activities. Guided tours on the edge of the reserve. Wildlife observations. Boat rides, visit of villages.
Local population. Profits are paid to the joint fund of the Sex development Committee of PETS (supervisors).

Petit bémol quand même, le matériel à l'intérieur des chambres est parfois hors service car pas entretenu (interrupteur, téléphone, ventilation...).
Mon bungalow servait de terrier à quelques rongeurs dans les murs et malheureusement ils se balladait sur le toit qui était très fin donc bruyant et pas rassurant.
Finalement je dirais au vu de mon expérience que ce n'est pas terrible, le service est ok mais le personnel est un peu incompétent.
Repas bon, mais très léger le tout dans des prix moyens.
