Fenghuang is famous for its bridges spanning the Tuo River, offering picturesque views of the old town. Here are the most emblematic:

The Rainbow Bridge (Hongqiao, 虹桥). A true emblem of the city, this is a masterpiece of traditional Chinese architecture. Built of wood and stone, this covered bridge houses a shopping arcade selling local crafts and souvenirs. By day, it offers a panoramic view of the houses on stilts. At night, illuminated by red lanterns, it casts bewitching reflections on the water, creating an enchanting atmosphere. It's a must-see. However, it is far more interesting to contemplate from the outside than from the inside.

The Wind and Rain Bridge (风雨桥). Inspired by the architecture of Dong ethnic covered bridges, this bridge protects passers-by from the elements thanks to its finely carved wooden roof. It is designed to be a space for rest and contemplation, offering visitors a moment of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. In contrast to the more animated Rainbow Bridge, the Wind and Rain Bridge's serene atmosphere is particularly appealing.

North Gate Bridge (北门跳岩). A stone bridge allowing pedestrians to cross the river by jumping from stone to stone. It offers rustic charm and a playful experience.

East Gate Bridge (东门城楼桥). Located near the old city gate, this bridge spans the river with elegant arches, offering a beautiful perspective on the old town.
