BEST VILLA

Built in the 1930 s to serve as a resort to Tchang Kai-chek and his family, this beautiful stone villa is not best preserved, but it still deserves a visit because its interior and furnishings have remained almost unchanged. And then, for the toes in history, Mao Zedong had become accustomed to setting up his quarters at the political meetings of the CCP after the proclamation of the People's Republic of China (in the home of his former political opponent).
