MUSEO LÍTICO

Opened in 1989, the Museo Lítico houses ceramics found on the site at the time of its restoration, as well as 26 carved stelae explaining the succession of Mayan dynasties that ruled Tikal. Also quite remarkable are the photographs taken by archaeologists Alfred Maudslay and Teobert Maler when the site was discovered, then covered with a thick layer of vegetation.
