Since it was born from the initiative of its inhabitants, this social and community agency takes its name from the hamlet of Carmelita. In addition to being guided by local experts of the area, using its services allows to support the inhabitants, strongly affected by poverty. If it organizes excursions to Tikal, Yaxha, Uaxactun and El Zotz, it is especially known for its treks in the Parque Nacional El Mirador.
