Comfortable guesthouse with restaurant, offering local cuisine, in the Vaipaee valley.
Founded in 1993 by Toa Taiaapu, Ua Huka's first boarding house, literally translated as "the power of our ancestors" is now run by his son Arii. In the Vaipaee Valley, on the heights overlooking the road, it offers four bungalows on stilts with private bathroom and hot water, one of which is family owned. A comfortable, well-decorated and engaging address, with a restaurant based on local products. In the family, we are sculptors from father to son. The site is pretty and some privacy is preserved.

Au cœur des anciennes caldeira
Un magnifique emplacement pour un séjour placé sous le signe de l’authenticité et du charme. Vue imprenable et accueil très riche. Dans mon bungalow j’ai pris la liberté d’empiler deux matelas en mode princesse au petit pois et c’était fabuleux ! Le bungalow est si bien conçu qu’on ne souffre pas de la chaleur. Je conseille vivement

It was welcomed by Reiarii that run pension only for this period. Good meals (goat, crayfish) but not enough breakfasts (7 pancakes for 5, pas de bread). Including guide, he knows heaps of things and explains well. But it was a little fiu and it offers us " plantés" the second day to be available for tourists of Aranui. And us? not one too tourists??? Impossible to find a rental car. In short... Disappointment as one paid 600€ (2 teenagers 1 adults and 2 children) for 2 nights in half-board. Value really BOF! I regret especially as I loved the island much. Go to Mauritius and Delphine! A warm welcome and more pleasant corner when you do not have a car.
